From Inquiry to “I Do” – How It Works
Step 1: Reach Out & Say Hello! Fill out our contact form to inquire about your wedding date and the services you have in mind. Don’t forget to tell us all about your pup - we love the details!
Step 2: Let’s Chat! (Discovery Call) In our brochure you’ll have the opportunity to schedule a complimentary 30-minute discovery call with Ash. We’ll introduce ourselves to you, your fiancé, and your dog. We’ll go over your wedding plans, your dog’s role in the day, and any special care needs.
Step 3: Book Your Pup’s Wedding Day Experience Once you decide we’re the perfect fit, we’ll send over a custom pawposal package that includes a dog care questionnaire, a contract, and deposit details to lock in your date. You’ll also receive the official Black Dog Weddings Client Guidebook as a reference.
Step 4: Meet & Greet As your wedding day gets closer, we’ll schedule an in-person meet & greet with you, your fiancé, and your pup. We’ll finalize all logistics and send you a customized wedding day itinerary for your dog. We’ll also connect with your vendor team so everything runs smoothly!
Step 5: The Big Day! (YAY!) You enjoy your wedding, and we’ll take care of everything for your pup -logistics, handling, and lots of love! Whether it’s walking down the aisle, posing for photos, or relaxing in their designated “camp” space, your dog will be safe, happy, and well cared for.
Step 6: The Famous “Pupdate” Once your pup has wrapped up their wedding duties, we’ll send you a text message PUPDATE with all the adorable details. Afterward, we’ll follow up with a thank-you and a request for feedback - we love hearing about your experience!

Engagement Photography Dog Handling
1.5 HOURS PHOTOGRAPHY DOG HANDLING SERVICE
Available in London and surrounding area. Travel fee applies outside of service area.
Your dog will enjoy constant chaperone service during your engagement photoshoot while your photographer focuses on you and your fiancé until your dog is ready for their close up! Your dog will receive positive interaction for photos with treats, water and toys! We manage dog energy with a walk, clean ups, plenty of primping and unlimited belly rubs!

Ash & her team were absolutely amazing to deal with, right through the planning process to the day of! It was so special to have the dogs as part of our big day, and to not have to worry about the logistics of them. Maddi & Safiya dealt with our two high-energy pups so well, keeping them calm and getting their attention for photos (which is hard to do!). We opted for the extra hours of care at our parents airbnb so that the dogs weren't left alone for as long, and even with a slight issue (totally on our family's end!) they were incredibly flexible and understanding. They provided such a detailed end-of-night report with additional photos. We cannot recommend Black Dog Weddings enough and are so thankful for them!

Having working in the wedding industry Ive heard many amazing things and when I officially got to meet Ash in person I couldn’t wait to book her for my own wedding.
Jarvis was instantly in love with her and knowing our boy was taken care of during the most important day of our lives made the day stress free and that much more perfect! Thanks to Ash Jarvis was the star of the show, got all the love and attention and shined in the photos just like I knew he could and he even got extra snuggles during the ceremony!
